Empathy,compassion & sympathy what do all these things have to do with Design? Understanding the feelings of the consumer that buys your design products will make a huge difference in designing something desirable and useful for our clients. We want to be their solution to a need that they are willing to buy it. Not just a temporary fix. In the end that is what will satisfy our customers and leave them with the right feelings out of our story, whether that be a home good store or a clothing store. Better understanding the needs and wants of our customers will increase the shopping experience and leave them loving our store. When we create an environment that they enjoy but goes beyond a surface level it gives the customer the feeling that our brand or story genially cares!
I loved learning the importance of knowing our consumers which will ultimately help us to create sustainable solutions while providing for their needs, leaving them only with good vibes about our designs!!
