Breathe in, breathe out. Observing myself becoming more and more mindful through meditation is a fascinating experience. I had already read the book given to DHM freshmen, The Practicing Mind, so I’ve been implementing mindfulness practice into my every day life for weeks now, but actually being in a class where mindfulness is the focus of our studies has magnified my personal growth tremendously.
We also discussed western paradigms and their influence on sustainability. During class I was strongly on the no end and I still stand on the no end, but listening to the conversations happening definitely helped me understand each side of the argument a little bit better.
